2. Important Dates
For the majority of the state spring break for schools is March 29 - April 6. This is a great time to kick-off the camping season and often sells out and currently half sold out already.
Easter is later this year, April 20th. Since it's later and warmer it will typically sell out also. So if you are thinking about those dates think fast before it's too late.
Summer (Memorial Day through Labor Day) sells out fast. There are already weekends nearly sold out in July. Not sure why everyone tries to pack everything into July, but if you want to sleep with AC and not sweltering in a tent you better get on it!
3. Company Growth
You may be asking, "well, if there's so much demand why don't you add more inventory". Great question, and many reasons, but I'll focus on 2 reasons.
1. While most companies focus purely on revenue as their product, I'm focused on creating the best value as the product. If I grow too big, I will produce more revenue, but if the value of the product suffers is it really worth it?
2. Although there is extra demand (unconstrained demand) it's really only about 8 weekends a year that are sold out which means adding a trailer is only adding 8 more reservations. And cost analysis doesn't make sense for only 8 more reservations.
3.
